Fundraising Opportunity


 
Parents and Players,
 
Many of you have been asking about fundraising opportunities and I wanted to give you all an update.   Below are the three things we are going after:

 
1. Herbergers coupon book
John Gagne put together a fundraiser with Herbergers.   Your player has already received, or will receive shortly, a coupon book good for November 11-12 at the Herbergers in Southdale.  This coupon book is free to us, but we are selling them for $5.   The profit is 100%, split 50/50 between the player and the association.  Each player will get (or has gotten) 10 booklets to sell.  If you need more, let John know.  We are also working on setting up a table at the entrance to sell the booklets at the store during these days.  More to come on that.   This is a great, risk free fundraiser.  Please return all money and UNSOLD booklets to John, no later than 11/10.

 
2. Pizza/Cookie Dough
Once again we have arranged to sell the pizzas and cookie dough this year from Midwest Fundraising!   This was a successful fundraising campaign last year!   This fundraiser will kick off on 11/15 and go through Thanksgiving.   Orders need to be turned in on 11/29, delivery of the orders will be the week of Dec 12.   This will give you an opportunity to sell to family and friends while on Thanksgiving break, and get delivery prior to Christmas.   More to come on that when I get the information.

 
3. Bakers Square Pies
Midwest did not have the frozen pies this year and had the Bakers Square pie cards.   However, I received a better deal through Bakers Square.   Therefore, we will have Bakers Square pie cards to sell in conjunction with the Pizza and Cookie Dough.   The selling price of the cards will be $15 and are good for any pie at Bakers Square.

Cans for Kennedy $$$

Collect your aluminum cans and then simply deposit them in our handy aluminum can cage trailer conveniently located on the west side of the Bloomington Armory parking lot which is at 3300 West 98th Street, Bloomington, Minnesota. Just next door (east) to the Bloomington Ice Garden.

All of the proceeds from the aluminum can collections will do directly to benefit Kennedy Youth Hockey Programs.
